About Dr. Curtis
Medical and research training
Dr. Curtis studied psychology at Colgate University and earned her medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in 2023. Her training supports a whole-person view of how biological, behavioral, and care-delivery factors shape health.
Neurological and cardiovascular research
Before joining Toward Health, she conducted dementia and caregiver research at the University of Florida’s Norman Fixel Institute in collaboration with the 1Florida Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. She has also supported clinical trials involving investigational lipoprotein(a)-lowering therapies.
Preventive models of care
At Toward Health, Dr. Curtis helps develop research on metabolic health, chronic disease, and care delivery. Her work emphasizes prevention, access, nutrition, and the practical translation of evidence into better patient care.
