About Brian
Lived experience and empathy
After years of struggling with food addiction, obesity, and repeated weight regain, Brian adopted a low-carbohydrate lifestyle in 2009 and has maintained substantial weight loss. That experience shapes a coaching style grounded in empathy and practical problem-solving.
Tools instead of shame
Brian helps patients navigate cravings, setbacks, and the day-to-day work of building routines that can last. His approach emphasizes accountability, useful tools, and the belief that people need support rather than guilt or shame.
Coaching leadership and education
As Lead Health Coach, Brian supports patients and the coaching team through one-to-one guidance, courses, group learning, articles, and public conversations about metabolic health.
