We are meant to sleep for 1/3 of our lives! We should not underestimate the importance of that in our metabolic health. This course will discuss some basic physiology of sleep and its role in our health – from dementia risk, chronic pain, diabetes, weight loss, heart disease and much more. It will include information on obstructive sleep apnea, practical sleep tips, sleep hygiene, and how to combat insomnia.
